kmfdm doing madonna again
I love covers in general, so when I came across a collection of industrial covers, I was particularly interested. Listening to a gravelly voiced man sing about being a material girl seems like such a wonderful play on gender and consumer culture. An adolescent Madonna’s coy greed seems positively menacing in this song. KMFDM gets money.
